Design Process
Great design isn’t accidental — it comes from a clear, deliberate process. At Zo and Co., we work in three stages:

This is where we listen. We visit your space, understand how you use it, what's not working, and what you're drawn to. We define your aesthetic and establish your budget and timeline. Once we're aligned, we formalize the relationship with a signed contract.

Here's where your space starts to take shape. We present custom mood boards, layouts, and material samples — fabrics, paint, wallpaper, finishes — and refine the direction meeting by meeting. Each round gets more detailed: renderings, elevations, product specifications, color palettes. We move forward only when you're confident in every decision.

With your approvals in place, we take it from here. We manage the full process — coordinating with vendors, contractors, and our studio team — so you don't have to. We represent your interests from first delivery to final installation, and when it's done, we unveil a space that's exactly what you envisioned.

Cultivating Pink Dunes
When Zo & Co Design Studio first evaluated the site in Somerset—NJ, the team saw more than a retail end-cap; they identified an opportunity to challenge the suburban status quo.
The studio’s mission was to transform a 1600-square-foot industrial shell into Pink Dunes Cafe—a sanctuary inspired by the soft geometry of desert landscapes. The goal was to create a moody, sophisticated escape that felt both grounded in nature and distinctly avant-garde.
